Upscaling Star Trek Deep Space Nine

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine is my favourite Star Trek series, and my second favourite TV series overall, right after Babylon 5. I’ve been rewatching the series every two or three years for the last couple of decades or so, and I am due for another round just about now. While some of the other older Star Trek series have been re-released in HD quality on Bluray, notably, Deep Space Nine and Voyager have not.

Star Trek: SNW is Really Good Trek!

I’m a huge Science-Fiction fan, which I think anyone who knows me is very well aware of. I enjoy most Sci-Fi to some extent, and my two favourite TV series of all time are Babylon 5 and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. In case you were wondering … yes, Benjamin Sisko (Avery Brooks) is my favourite Star Trek captain. Now, I’m not a dedicated Trekkie in that I get totally absorbed by the francise.

Too Many Post-Apocalyptic TV Series?

Is it just me getting a bit tired of all the post-apocalyptic TV series and movies? Sure, it’s a genre on its own, and there has always been a steady stream of them. I don’t have a problem with that. I just felt that I reached saturation level for my own part with “The Last of Us” that started airing earlier this year. It’s not that I don’t like the genre.
